About us at Barth Storage in Kenosha, Wisconsin

About Us

Barth Storage is family owned and operated for almost 30 years. We are dedicated to the self storage business and our community. Kathy and Ron Barth are still active in the family business that they started and built back in 1980. Kathy Barth worked for 6 years to get a law passed for the state of Wisconsin. After many hard years of work, the law was passed. Their daughters, Lisa Barth-Chiappetta, Debbie Wolf, and Chris Soto manage the facilities, and Todd (son) performs construction & maintenance of the storage locations.

Lisa Barth-Chiappetta is the President of the Wisconsin Self Storage Association, and on the board of directors for the SSA (national association). She has followed in her mother’s footsteps and gotten two laws passed including lien law reform.

Barth Storage believes in giving back to the community. We do an annual fundraiser every year for the Shalom Center (homeless shelter). This year we raised over $35,912.50. We also host “Trunk or Treat” a Halloween party for the kids in Kenosha. Barth Storage hosts 20 FREE carnival games and prizes, soda and popcorn, and the kids also get to trick or treat in the storage facility. Many local business, state representatives, and the Mayor participate. They decorate a storage unit and pass out candy. It’s a great time for everyone.

Barth Storage belongs to the Wisconsin Self Storage Association, Chamber of Commerce, The Women’s Fund, WWE, Kenosha Women’s Network, Kenosha Sister Cities, Boys and Girls Club, Girls Scouts, St. Peters Church and School, and many more. We donate to many organizations like the Shalom Center, Deputy Friendly, Boys and Girls Club, St. Peters, St. Joseph’s, Bradford, Temper, Somers School, the Symphony, Lakeside Players, and many more.
